A proposal for a short mountain walk to the peak of Mosorny Groń. On the way you can visit the beautiful Waterfall on Mosorny Potok. The vast majority of the route leads through the forest area, the views appear only at the top, where there is the upper station of the PKL Mosorny Groń chairlift and a catering point with snacks From the top there is a beautiful view of the surrounding Beskid peaks. However, the main attraction is the view of Babia Góra, which looks extremely impressive. Trail color: blue - yellow Walking time: 1 h 20 min (one way) Highest point: Mosorny Groń 1045 m above sea level We start the trip in the Zawoja Mosorne district. From Pokoje Gościnne Mosorny Groń, the most convenient way to get to the starting point of the trip is by car - next to the entrance to the trail there is a small parking lot for several cars. You can also get there on foot, but you should expect a 6-kilometer walk through the streets of Zawoja. Next to the parking lot, blue signs direct us towards the forest. Within 25 minutes, we reach the forest trail to the point where the marked path to the Waterfall on Mosorny Potok starts. The descent to the Waterfall is very steep, protected by wooden handrails and beams arranged in the shape of stairs, but - especially after rain - you should be especially careful here. It only takes a few minutes to visit the waterfall, so it's definitely worth walking up to it. From the moment you leave the path leading to the waterfall, the blue trail becomes much steeper and more tiring. After 50 minutes of hiking, we reach the intersection of blue and yellow signs at Mosorny Groń. From here, we follow the yellow trail towards the top - it takes a few minutes to reach it. At the top of Mosorny Groń, beautiful views await us, especially of Babia Góra. It takes approximately 45 minutes to return to the parking lot via the same route. It is possible to go down to Zawoja via the yellow trail, but please remember that in such a situation the ending point of the trip will be different from the starting point, so this is an option for non-motorized people. Additionally, it should be borne in mind that the yellow trail intersects with the Babia Góra Trails bicycle route in many places, which may constitute an additional difficulty for hikers. From the top you can also take a chairlift directly to the Mosorny Groń Guest Rooms. From the top you can continue the trip towards Policy and Hala Krupowa - a description of the further route can be found here.
