"A proposal for a very pleasant, several-hour trip to the scenic peak of the Beskid Żywiecki called Jałowiec. There are no steep slopes along the entire route, and the path leads through a nice forest with many viewpoints. At the top there are numerous benches, a shelter and a place for a bonfire, so you can organize camping there.
Trail color: blue
Walking time: 1 h 50 min (one way)
Highest point: Jałowiec 1111 m above sea level
We start the trip in the Zawoja-Wełcza district. The blue trail starts near the school and church. The trail is typically forest, but from time to time there are beautiful views of Babia Góra. After 1 hour 40 minutes we reach the intersection where the blue trail joins the yellow trail. From here, it's about a 10-minute pleasant hike to the top. On Jałowiec there is a vast clearing with a beautiful view of Babia Góra and Pilsko. Return to the starting point via the same route (1 h 05 min).
